1. About Us
The Ummah Network (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a faith-based marriage introduction and manual matchmaking service. Our service is intended solely to facilitate introductions for individuals seeking marriage in accordance with Islamic principles.
By accessing our website or purchasing membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
2. Eligibility
To use The Ummah Network, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Be legally free and able to marry
Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
Use the service solely for the genuine purpose of seeking marriage
We reserve the right to request additional information to verify eligibility.
3. Nature of the Service
3.1 The Ummah Network provides a manual and discretionary matchmaking service.
3.2 We are not a dating platform.
3.3 Submission of an application and payment of the registration fee does not guarantee:
Acceptance into the service
A match
An introduction
Marriage
Any specific outcome
3.4 We retain full discretion in assessing applications and facilitating introductions.
4. Registration Fee and Payment
4.1 A one-time registration fee of £29.99 is required to apply for membership.
4.2 The registration fee is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
4.3 By completing payment, you acknowledge and agree that:
The fee covers application review, administrative processing, and matchmaking assessment
No guarantee of acceptance or match is provided
The fee remains payable regardless of the outcome of your application
4.4 By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
5. No Refund Policy
5.1 The £29.99 registration fee is non-refundable.
5.2 No refund will be issued in circumstances including, but not limited to:
Application rejection
Application withdrawal
Failure to secure a match
Dissatisfaction with outcomes
Change of personal circumstances
Voluntary withdrawal by the applicant
5.3 The fee reflects administrative time, review, and safeguarding processes which commence upon application submission.
6. Application Review and Withdrawal
6.1 We reserve the right to withdraw, reject, or terminate an application or membership at any time where we reasonably believe:
Information provided is false, misleading, or incomplete
The applicant has misrepresented themselves
The applicant is not legally eligible to marry
The applicant’s intentions are not genuinely for marriage
The applicant appears to be seeking marriage primarily for visa, immigration, financial, or other improper purposes
The applicant behaves in a manner inconsistent with the integrity or safeguarding standards of the service
6.2 Where an application is withdrawn under this clause, no refund shall be issued.
6.3 Our decisions are made in good faith and in the interests of safeguarding and protecting members.
7. User Conduct
You agree to:
Act honestly and respectfully
Provide accurate information
Maintain appropriate conduct
Respect safeguarding procedures
Not harass, pressure, or manipulate other members
We may terminate access where conduct falls below acceptable standards.
8. Safeguarding and Consent
8.1 Profiles, particularly of female members, are not shared without explicit consent.
8.2 Contact details are only exchanged with mutual consent.
8.3 We encourage involvement of a wali, mahram, or trusted third party where appropriate.
8.4 While we take reasonable safeguarding measures, we cannot guarantee the behaviour of any member.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 The Ummah Network provides introductions only.
9.2 We are not responsible for:
Decisions made by members
Outcomes of introductions
Emotional distress
Personal disputes
Actions or representations made by other members
9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, text, and materials belong to The Ummah Network and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
11. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
By using our service, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in that policy.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service where necessary to:
Protect members
Prevent misuse
Comply with legal obligations
Maintain the integrity of the service
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Ummah Network.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
